FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASEYOUR THEATRE, INC. LOCAL SITE FOR NATIONAL COMMUNITY THEATRE WEEKNational Community Theatre Week, April 18-25, 1998, a program of the American Association of Community Theatre (AACT), will be celebrated locally by Your Theatre, Inc.AACT is the national network for community theatre supporting the efforts of the country's 7000+ community theatres. In addition AACT sponsors continuing education and community theatre festivals. National Community Theatre Week celebrates the efforts of volunteer theatre artists and audiences who have made community theatre the most attended and active art form in the United States. The week long celebration is supported nationally by a grant from Stage Directions magazine. Your Theatre, Inc. has been providing live theatre throughout the region for over 50 years, regularly presenting a season of four to six plays. In recognition of National Community Theatre Week the group has planned a Volunteer Recognition Chili Supper at 7:00 p.m. on April 17. Volunteers from all area community theaters are welcome.
