FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASEYOUR THEATRE, INC. CASTS "SCAPINO"New Bedford - Your Theatre, Inc. announces that Director MaryLee Vitale has cast all roles in the upcoming production of "Scapino!" by Frank Dunlop and Jim Dale.Michael J. FitzGerald, Jr. of New Bedford has been cast in the title role of Scapino. Cast members include Dennis Amaral, Michelle Ouellette Cormier, and Glenn Stewart from New Bedford, Edward J. Maguire and Jacob Fowle from Fairhaven, John Sylvia from Dartmouth, Barbara DiPoli from Taunton, and Eddie Camara from Acushnet. Other cast members are Nancy Hayes, Mark Melonas, Ben Goldblatt, Alexandra Waring and Stephanie Helme from New Bedford. Lawrence R. Houbre, Jr. of New Bedford will play accordian. Performances begin at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 1998, through Saturday, May 9, a Sunday Matinee at 2:00 p.m. on May 10, and at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13 through Saturday, May 16. This inspired comic madness is based on MoliŠre's "Les Fourberies de Scapin." The Commedia dell'Arte play is set in Naples and begins with a song made up from the menu at an Italian restaurant! For reservations call Your Theatre at 508-993-0772. Tickets are $7.00 on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, $9.00 on Friday and Saturday. Senior Citizen and Student discounts are available. |
