FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASEYOUR THEATRE INC. CASTS GIGINew Bedford - Your Theatre will present "GIGI" as dramatized by Anita Loos on May 10 through May 20, at the Maxfield Street playhouse.Directed by Stephen R. Kay of Swansea, the cast includes Trudi Anne Miller, Dennis J. Amaral, and Lucy Bly from New Bedford, Susan Fournier and Susan Massey from Dartmouth, Robert Gillet from Plymouth, and Kimberly A. Lewin from Freetown. The play, adapted from the novel by Collette, is about Gigi, a sixteen year old French girl brought up to be a stylish coquette. Her grandmother has picked a man, a roué, who frequently visits as a friend, and wants Gigi to become his mistress. To everyone's surprise, she maneuvers the man into a proposition of marriage.
