FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASEYOUR THEATRE INC. ANNOUNCES "DEATH AND THE MAIDEN"New Bedford - Your Theatre will present "DEATH AND THE MAIDEN" by Ariel Dorfman January 23 to February 2 at the Maxfield St. playhouse. The cast of Lee J. Fortier of New Bedford, Stephen R. Kay of Swansea, and Carol Oliva of Fairhaven is directed by Susan J. Fournier of Dartmouth.The play concerns Paulina and her husband, who is to head an investigation into human rights abuses. A Dr. Miranda stops by to congratulate Gerardo. Paulina overhears them and is convinced that Miranda supervised her prison torture sessions. She conducts her own investigation as her husband looks on undecided on who to believe.
