FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASEYOUR THEATRE INC. ANNOUNCES THE EXACT CENTER OF THE UNIVERSENew Bedford - Your Theatre will present "THE EXACT CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE" by Joan Vail Thorne March 13 to 23 at the Maxfield St. playhouse. The cast of Dennis Amaral, Lucy Bly and Shannon E. Gracia of New Bedford, Joan A. Prescott of Wareham, and Lorraine Lucciola of Fall River is directed by Cynthia J. Messier of Fairhaven.The play is about Vada, the self-appointed doyenne of a small town. She has invited Mary Lou to tea with the intention to scare off another prospective bride for her son, Apple, but she meets her match in Mary Lou, who’s pretending to be her twin sister, Mary Ann, whom Apple secretly married. Ten years pass and Vada and her friends have grown wiser, and though her attitudes have changed, she remains the exact center of the universe.
