FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASEYOUR THEATRE INC. ANNOUNCES AUDITIONSNew Bedford - Your Theatre, Inc.'s Artistic Director, Edward J. Maguire, announced that auditions for the "TWILIGHT OF THE GOLDS" by Jonathon Tolins will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Wed., June 18, 2003. The auditions will be held at the theatre, 71 Maxfield St. in New Bedford.Director Judy Lemay is looking to fill several roles, both male and female, ages 18 or older. Experience is not necessary, readings will be from the script. This drama uses science and opera as a backdrop for a confused and broken middleclass Jewish family searching for clarity and repair. Moral and ethical issues must be considered when Suzanne finds she is pregnant and her husband, a genetic researcher, employs his latest research to reveal the genetic makeup of their child. He discovers irregularities and the couple find themselves in the ethically tricky position of deciding whether to abort or face the challenge of raising a child that does not meet their expectations.
