FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASEYOUR THEATRE INC. ANNOUNCES TRYOUTSNew Bedford - Your Theatre, Inc.'s Artistic Director, Edward J. Maguire, announced that auditions for the "THE ILLUSION" adapted by Tony Kushner will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Fri., August 1, 2003. The auditions will be held at the theatre, 71 Maxfield St. in New Bedford.Director Robin Richard is looking to fill several roles, both male and female, ages 18 or older. Experience is not necessary, readings will be from the script. This adaptation of Pierre Corneille's 17th century "L'illusion Comique" is a comic fantasy of mystery and illusion. The plot involves the search of a father for his son, whom he banished several years before. The father consults a magician to use his magic conjure up a vision of his son.
