FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASEYOUR THEATRE INC. ANNOUNCES AUDITIONSNew Bedford - Your Theatre, Inc.'s Artistic Director, Edward J. Maguire, announced that auditions for "TAKING LEAVE" by Nagle Jackson will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Fri., August 22, 2003. The auditions will be held at the theatre, 71 Maxfield St. in New Bedford.Director Cynthia J. Messier is looking to fill male and female roles, ages 18 or older. Experience is not necessary, readings will be from the script. In the play, a dynamic Shakespearean scholar Elliot Pryne finds his intellectual powers giving way to the ravages of Alzheimer's disease. Shadows of his favorite play, King Lear, are evoked as his three daughters argue over health care options and family history.
