FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASEYOUR THEATRE INC. ANNOUNCES AUDITIONSNew Bedford - Your Theatre, Inc.'s Artistic Director, Edward J. Maguire, announced that auditions for "THE SUM OF US" by David Stevens will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Tue., August 10, 2004. The auditions will be held at the theatre, 71 Maxfield St. in New Bedford.Director Robin Richard is looking to fill several male roles, ages 20 or older, and one female role, age 40 or older. Experience is not necessary. The play concerns Harry, a widower and Jeff, his gay son. The two are at odds about many things but not Jeff's homosexuality. Harry is supportive of his son's search for a partner, but his acceptance of his son's preference leads to trouble. Also, Harry own love interest discovers Jeff's sexual orientation and ends the relationship. The production is scheduled for Jan 12 to 22, 2005.
