FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASEYOUR THEATRE INC. ANNOUNCES AUDITIONSNew Bedford - Your Theatre, Inc.'s Artistic Director, Edward J. Maguire, announced that auditions for "THE CHRISTMAS QUARTER" by local playwright Lawrence R. Houbre, Jr. will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Wed., October 20, 2004. The auditions will be held at the theatre, 71 Maxfield St. in New Bedford.Director Lawrence R. Houbre, Jr. is seeking actors between the age of 9 and 14 to play the roles of two 9- year old boys. Also being filled are roles for men and women ages 25 to 55. Experience is not necessary. The story is about Robert, a boy whose family has recently moved, and his fear that Santa will not be able to find him. Meanwhile, Robert finds a quarter and has to deal with truthfulness after discovering that the handyman has lost a lucky coin. The production is scheduled for Dec 10 to 12, 2004.
