FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASEYOUR THEATRE INC. POSTPONES AUDITIONSNew Bedford - Your Theatre, Inc. is postponing the auditions for "ON THE MARRY-GO-WRONG", a farce by Georges Feydeau, originally scheduled for Jan. 26. The auditions will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Wed., Feb. 2, 2005 at St. Martin's Hall at 136 Rivet St, corner of County St., in New Bedford.Director Lawrence R. Houbre, Jr. is looking to fill several male roles, ages 20 to 60, and several female roles, age 20 to 35. Experience is not necessary. The comedy centers around the wedding ceremony (civic style) of one M. Barillon who through a clerk's error, finds that he is contracted to his supposedly widowed mother-in-law to be. When her sailor husband turns up again, life is further complicated for him by equally ill-fated attempts to procure an annulment and by his young fiancees preference for a man her own age.
