This play is about Harry, a widower and Jeff, his gay son. The two are at odds about many things but not Jeff's homosexuality. Although Harry is an enthusiastic supporter of his son's search for a partner, his acceptance of his son's preference leads to trouble when Jeff brings home a date. Harry, like his son, is looking for companionship and thinks he has found it until his love interest discovers Jeff's sexual orientation and ends the relationship.
