| Cast announced for Season Finale | |||
NEW BEDFORD, MA -- YTI Announces Cast of Season Finale Your Theatre and Director Bob Gillet of Fall River, announce the cast for its final production of the 63rd season, the comedy/farce Role Play by Alan Ayckbourn. Role Play will run from Thursday, June 3th until Sunday, June 13th. The Cast For Role Play includes Peter Ashworth and Robin Richard of New Bedford, Linda Landry-Pires of Fairhaven, Stacy Tinkham of Fall River, Wade Martin of Berkley, Chris Bailey of Plymouth and Sarah Morse of Dartmouth. Maria G. Dawson of Providence, RI is the Stage Manager. The plot involves a young well-to-do couple, living in an upscale apartment, who have planned a civilized dinner party where they hope to introduce each other’s parents and also announce their engagement. The situation between the two is already tense enough, but when two unexpected guests, one a lap-dancing gangster’s moll who “drops in”, the other her burly gun-toting bodyguard that tenseness increases. What her parents (the bigoted northern stereotype and his dim twittering wife) and his toy-boy chasing and drink-soaked mother arrive find when they arrive shows us that the bourgeois guests, under their respective veneers, are far more frightening than the interlopers.
